Day 6. Last day of serving in Coast Rica, but not the last day on the mission field. As we end our night here at 6:8 Ministries, we all are completely consumed will Gods glory and unfailing, ever faithful, all powerful Love He has for us. Water baptisms are about to happen and the baptism of the Holy Spirit!! Acts 2:1-4..Look it up! It’s a gift!

My feet did ok today.. it’s starting to bruise, but at least I have a testimony to bring back to the states!

Whelp, off to the last prayer service, Fire is going to fall down!!

Day 2 & 3.

So sorry for not blogging yesterday, but I have lots to tell you about! The day is almost over with and s0o0oo0 many people encountered God today!!! I took many pictures, but my battery died when I needed it the most :-(   I will post some of them soon!!

God is just bleeding through each and everyone of these youths.. I can’t believe how many of them have stepped out  of their comfort boxes and totally overtook Satin for JESUS! Amen!!

For this missions trip, I have experienced a different perspective, because I have been photographing the trip and looking at these children and people of Costa Rica through the eyes of a lense. I haven’t experienced it from this side before. It’s kinda lonely, but I’m thankful for the position God has put me in and what He has been showing me.

The internet here shut down last night, so I lost most of my writing…and it saved as a draft, so that’s why it didn’t post yesterday..

Promise i’ll do better on the posts!!’

Until next time…

Day 4 & 5. Twisted Ankles and the Spirit of God.

Day 4.Yesterday was a long work day at one of the local schools. We painted many walls and doors to improve the school. It was a day off for the kids, so we we’re able to get everything done without problem. The youth went on 3 different prayers walks while others worked at the school. I was able to go on the second group where we threw a birthday party for Luis, one of the locals who turned 22 and had cerebral palsy. Even though he was incapable of talking, you could just see the excitement upon his sweet face. The day was an extended one, but God showed up in everything we did. Even at the park where we talked, danced with, sang and handed out tracks to the homeless and hurting people of Costa.

Day 5. Today was our free day where we hiked up a mountain and went shopping in San Jose. The hike was long and challenging, but seeing the beauty that God gave each and everyone of us at the top of that mountain was just indescribable!!! We all stood in awe of His power and glory while we had our quiet time to soak everything in. The hike up was hard, but the hike down was scary.. ha. I twisted my left ankle once and my right ankel four times.. Yes, that’s right.. impossible you may be thinking, but think not. ;-) Pastor Big John carried me half way down the mountain firemen style–Ah yeah. ha. Thank God nothing was broken, but I did receive some pretty swollen ankles! God is good, and we had fun!

Praise Jesus!

Day 1. The  journey getting to Costa was nothing short of an adventure. haha. When going on a missions trip, you Should expect the unexpected. Literally. The number one rule of a missions trip is to Never complain. With that said, I won’t go into the details on all the events that were laid in our path. The only thing that matters is we arrived in Costa, all in one piece, safe and sound. The cool part about today was when we as a team went on the prayer walk throughout the community. To see the youth of THIS generation step out of their comfort zone to pray with, speak over, and just hang out with the kids and people of Alajueita, was just a big ball of excitment with a ribbon tied around it!!! :]  Now, with the minimal sleep within the past 36 hours, it’s time for me to get my sleep on!

until next time!

Everything doesn’t always seem as it appears. I tend to learn this the hard way-being the hard headed individual I can be at times. Starting fresh from this day forward…. declaring that today! :0)

I’m done packing for Orlando… I get to see my LoVeR!!! ahhhhahahahaha. A fun weekend with the rents and a nice couple of nights with an old friend.. Now, I just have to get in the car and drive for two hours. Not too much fun there!

2 Chorinthians 12:9-10:
“My grace is sufficent for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong” (NIV).

I love this verse, because I know without hardships, I won’t grow and without difficulties, I won’t learn. I want to be as uncomfortable as possible, because only then do I know my heart is truely aligned with christ.

As humans, many of us scramble around this world like lost puppies. God has to watch us constantly choose paths that He knows will only hurt us, but He allows this because of our free will. He will carefully guide and steer us from harm if only we ask. But what seems to be the hardest concept is to actually listen. We constantly ask and ask of Him because we sometimes never see results. We become too worried about finding the answer ASAP that we overlook his blessings. Just know that all we have to do is ask. That’s it.  No checklist of things we must fix about ourselves, there is no ritual or idol to worship before He will intervene, He just takes us as we are. That is what makes Christianity different from any other religion.

I hope any of that made sense.. I just had to write, and this is what came out..

Until next! Have an Excellent!  :)

Maybe you Lost her.

Looking for something I’ve never seen,

Bracing myself for something I didn’t quite understand.

It keeps creeping back in ..

Like a mistake from that past.

But realize, I dont have time to maintain these regrets!

So some learn to cope with the constant poking,

But eventually, they all begin choking

A goal set, but never achieved.

Like a new years resolution that eventually you forget.

HE says to lay all of your burdens down..

 I’m slowly getting closure

Realizing that it’s Finally Over..

…..Forgiveness.

This is an oldie!haha. I found it in one of my word writings
